WILD SALMON DESERVE BETTER: A SCATHING OPEN LETTER to Minister Joyce Murray

16 of Canada's most prominent Pacific salmon professors and research scientists have released a scathing open letter, to Joyce Murray, outlining the failings of a recent DFO sea lice report to meet basic scientific standards. Essentially telling her the report is so seriously flawed it must be ignored, and they've got 43 pages of receipts....

We applaud the efforts and intentions of these professors and researchers - which is to help improve the quality of science advice that reaches our DFO Minister.

Wild salmon deserve better."... "The scientific community is ready to contribute".

Let's hope that having the backing of such prominent non-industry experts and peer reviewed research will support Minister Murray's ability to make the right decision and change the trajectory of this departments priorities.
