FILM FEST EVENT: Join Us This Thursday Evening At The Astor Theatre!

To Kick off Privateer Days we're co-hosting a screening of three aquaculture related films and guest speakers this Thursday at the Astor Theatre in Liverpool - a free event. The viewing lineup includes a CBC documentary, The Salmon That Divides Us, based in the Maritimes it features Liverpool Bay including interviews with our very own Brian Muldoon and former RQM Mayor Darlene Norman, among others. This screening will be a special english version released exclusively for this event as it was originally produced by CBC to air in french only.

Prior to and In-between the documentaries you'll hear from various speakers with some important updates on the currently adjourned ARB hearing for Cooke's proposed net-pen expansion in Liverpool Bay as well as the Province's upcoming Coastal Classification System for aquaculture.


We look forward to catching up with all of you in person - see you at the Astor!!
