WOW, WHAT A GREAT SUCCESS OUR EVENT was at the Astor Theatre yesterday!
THANK YOU to everyone who came out to meet the authors of the Salmon Wars book and hear our guest speakers, who all delivered excellent and insightful presentations - it made for a really interesting question & answer period including some ideas that we’re going to be following up on.
For the authors, returning to Liverpool was like a homecoming (hear more about that in their presentation!) and there was a great show of support for their book with lots of sales afterwards. We were thrilled to hear so much positive feedback about how informative the presentations were and how thought provoking the opening documentary was. We were especially pleased to have several councillors and the Mayor in attendance.

It was clear from the event’s turnout that Queens County residents have no intention of allowing Cooke Aquaculture to expand in Liverpool Bay!!!
