URGENT CALL TO ACTION! - The Government of Nova Scotia is developing an online mapping tool that will screen coastal waters for potential suitability for aquaculture development. The NS Department of Fisheries and Aquaculture has just launched their public input survey for this new aquaculture Coastal Classification System (CCS), deadline for public input is March 15, 2025. The CCS has the potential to pave the way for significant, barrier-free open net-pen expansion. Please make the time to review their "Fact Sheets" and complete the survey.
