Join us tonight at the Astor Theatre in Liverpool for an informative and social evening that you won’t want to miss! We're excited to co-host a special screening of three insightful aquaculture-related short films and speakers. This free event highlights the compelling CBC documentary, The Salmon That Divides Us, which dives into the issue of net-pen salmon farm in the Maritimes and showcases Liverpool Bay and features our own Brian Muldoon and former RQM Mayor Darlene Norman, among other local voices. This special screening will be an exclusive English version of the documentary, otherwise only airing in French. Come be part of the conversation and gain a deeper understanding of the issues at stake!

Prior to and In-between the documentaries you'll hear from speakers with some important updates on the currently adjourned ARB hearing for Cooke's proposed net-pen expansion in Liverpool Bay as well as the Province's upcoming Coastal Classification System for aquaculture.
Your presence will make a difference—we look forward to catching up with all of you in person, see you there!
Doors open at 6:00 pm
