!! TODAY'S EVENT IS CANCELLED - AND WILL BE RESCHEDULED !!
Hello Friends, we hope this message finds you well.
After much deliberation and consulting with our event speakers who are in various locations, we made the decision last evening that out of respect for all those dealing with the aftermath of Fiona that we should cancel today’s event (which we also announced last evening on our social media channels.) Even though we in the Liverpool area weren’t as directly impacted, most of us likely have family or friends who were and we appreciate that our community member’s minds are elsewhere right now. In an effort to ensure that our Salmon Wars book launch event is the best that it can be, we're rescheduling a new date for the upcoming month.
As of 11:00 am today (Sunday) we folks at PLB who are coordinating the event as well as some of our guest speakers, are currently still without power and internet. We have several slots available with the Astor Theatre in October, so stay tuned, soon as we've confirmed the new event date with all, we'll share it here.
Its been so exciting to see the incredible response to the event and we're grateful to everyone who showed interest and shared the details. We're optimistic everyone will still be able to make it on the newly scheduled date which we hope to announce in the coming day or two.
