REGARDING LICENCE/LEASE RENEWAL APPROVAL FOR SITE #1205 COFFIN ISLAND. Did you write a submission letter?
It has come to our attention that a number of residents and local stakeholders submitted letters regarding this application (with confirmations of receipt) but their submissions are not included in the Administrator’s Decision Notice. The Decision Notice approving this Lease/Licence renewal dated March 31, 2020, states they only received 14 submissions from the public. If you submitted a letter to the DFA regarding this application before midnight on February 7, 2020, and received a confirmation but do not see it posted with the public notice documents (see link below) let us know! Please forward a copy of your letter to ‘PLB' via email. We are currently looking into this matter as its crucial that we know for this application how to ensure our public submissions are accounted for.
Please act asap on this.
Public Submissions were being accepted between the dates of January 9, 2020 to February 7, 2020, midnight, to (aqua.admin@novascotia.ca).
