NS South Shore Tourism announces Minister Keith Colwell to proclaim NS's first official LOBSTER DAY?

Does any one else find it rather ironic (outrageous!) that Keith Colwell will this week be declaring Nova Scotia’s First Official Lobster Day, when he and his department are the very reason that we have to be out fighting to protect our rural economies (including the lobster fishery) against this appalling open net-pen fish farm industry??

Quote from NS South Shore Tourism: "Crawl a’Board & Join Us! Please be advised that on January 29th, 2020, The Honourable Keith Colwell, Minister of Fisheries & Aquaculture, will make an official proclamation on behalf of The Premier of Nova Scotia, Stephen McNeil, announcing Nova Scotia’s First Official Lobster Day which will be held Friday, February 28th, 2020.

A press conference and small reception will take place on Wednesday, January 29, 2020, 11:30 am-12:45 pm. The event will be held in the foyer of the Nova Scotia legislature located at 1726 Hollis St, Halifax. We would be honoured if you could join us.

Should you have any questions regarding this invitation, please contact Shauna Williams, Nova Scotia Department of Fisheries and Aquaculture at 902- 424-0133 or by email at shauna.williams@novascotia.ca."
