"FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: VANCOUVER (October 10, 2019) – British Columbia residents overwhelmingly endorse a call to phase out open net pen salmon farms on the B.C. coast, according to recent polling conducted by Earnscliffe, a Canadian public opinion research and public affairs firm. The polling shows that wild salmon protection is very important to British Columbians, and that there is a clear cross-partisan consensus in support of transitioning to sustainable and environmentally friendly aquaculture methods."
